This plan shows our updated proposals for Rosefield Solar Farm. Based on feedback from our first consultation and continued engagement with stakeholders, as well as ongoing technical work and the outputs of our early environmental assessments, we have made some important updates to the Rosefield proposals:

  • A reduction of almost 40% in solar panel area –  from 448ha (1,108 acres) to 279ha (689 acres)
  • A fivefold increase in the area aside for nature – from 33ha (82 acres) to 176ha (434 acres)
  • A new 1.9km permissive footpath to link routes south of Steeple Claydon into the Rosefield site and toward Knowl Hill.
